Wine Barrel Furniture
Why would a pest control company be involved in making of wine barrel furniture?
Answer.
- We are carpenters, we work with wood every day and we live in wine country.
- We have our slow times to, besides "F and J Creations" (Floyd and Jackie) are our cousins.
- It's fun, a lot of fun!!!
Old wine barrels brought back (recycled) to life in fun new ways, ice chest, recycle bins, patio tables, coffee tables and more.
This is an actual wine barrel made out of Oak wood.
- Unfortunately, the wine does not come with the barrel.
If it's fun! we'll make it!

3/4 inch rope makes the handles. Black hinges for the lid and a bottle opener positioned inside the lid for easy access.
Two coats of oil to re-swell the barrels to make them water tight.
The stand is 4x8 Douglas Fir cut at the same angles as the wine barrel for a saddle like appearance. The stand actually cradles the wine barrel.

Oak Wine Barrel Desk with 2" Walnut slab as desk top (very nice)
- Not finished yet. Because of the thickness of the Walnut, it needs time to dry out.
- Walnut tree fell in the storms last winter in Santa Margarita. The walnut tree was NOT cut down so we could make a desk out of it.
