Fumigation, aka "Tenting"

     Fumigation is the process wherein wood destroying insects (Drywood termites/ Beetles, Beetles [different link]) are eliminated from a structure with the use of lethal gas. (Sulfuryl Fluoride aka Vikane)

Understand this before you fumigate

• Fumigation is the only treatment proven to kill existing termites in inaccessible areas or undected termite colonies (inside wall voids for example). 

• UC Berkeley study on the subject.
  
• Only fumigation achieved 100% kill rates.

• Fumigation is the only treatment proven to
  kill existing termites that are undetectable
  
• termite colonies less than five years old for example.

• no residual - after a fumigation the gas is gone. 
  
• No washing the dishes or the clothes!
• No wiping down the counter tops!

Understand this before you Fumigate

• Prices are based off cubic volume of airspace of your home and this includes patio & decks (length x width x height).
• Fumigation's can be intrusive, all the food needs to placed in special bags (we provide these). Plants need to be cut back, and your gas turned off, etc.
  
• Most fumigation's are a 4 day 3 night process.
